This past Saturday, Newbury welcomed current homeowners, prospective buyers and the community in general for an evening of food, fun and fireworks to celebrate the beginning of construction. The event began with a barbecue dinner prepared by a local chef and this time allowed new neighbors to mingle and potential Newbury residents to learn a little bit more about the community. Families also had the chance to make sno-cones and take a few runs through the main attraction, the big bouncy. The night eventually concluded with a 40-minute fireworks show, which rivaled the 4^th of July celebrations of most small cities. Overall the event was a resounding success as about 200 people chose to spend the evening at Newbury, so please stay tuned for our next community event.
