This update will focus primarily on the work for the retail portion of the site. A great deal of earthwork has been completed over the past few months and the upcoming photos will show this substantial progress.
Below is site map to show where the photos were taken. The locations are numbered and have arrows indicating the direction of view for each photo.
(Point 1, Retail Site)
This post begins with a new photo of the 84 Lumber site, which is the area most-ready to begin vertical construction. At the center of this wide shot, you can see the retaining wall and graded site. Also, notice Presto Sygan Road running along the top, where the line of trees meet the snow-covered slope.
(Point 2, Retail Site)
Above are a number of photos that show the height the grocer location surcharge. By using the site trailer and dump truck as objects of reference, it is much easier to get an idea of the size of this structure.
(Point 3, Retail Site)
Here a few shots of the same surcharge shown in the previous group of photos. In the first panoramic photo, the surcharge can be seen at the center of the shot. Also, on the left is the site drive hill that leads into the residential portion of the development. The second photo is a close-up with a dump truck located on the left for a frame of reference.
(Point 4, Retail Site)
This photo is basically the exact opposite of the previous two shots. It was taken from on top of the grocer surcharge in order to give a view of the rest of the retail site. At left is the first surcharge and I-79 runs along the bottom of the hill located in the center.
(Point 3, Retail Site)
Here is a shot of the first surcharge, which was completed some weeks ago. At the center, in the distance, can be seen a snow-covered site drive hill as mentioned previously.
(Point 5, Retail Site)
This is a close-up of the site drive hill that leads into the residential portion of the development. This drive intersects with Presto Sygan Road just to the left of the excavators seen in the middle of the photo.
